We all have days when we don't feel our best. Maybe it's a sore throat that won't go away, a cough that's getting worse, or a child who wakes up with a fever. Sometimes rest and home care are enough, but other times it's important to see your doctor.

When Should You Schedule a Sick Visit?

You don't have to wait until you're seriously ill to make an appointment. Some common reasons to schedule a sick visit include:

Persistent cough, congestion or sore throat

Fever or flu-like symptoms

Ear infections and sinus infections

Urinary tract infections

Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea

Rashes and minor skin infections

Symptoms that aren't improving or are getting worse

At Moss Health, we offer several in-office tests, including testing for strep throat, influenza, COVID-19, RSV and urinary tract infections.

Having these tests available during your appointment helps us identify certain illnesses quickly and develop a treatment plan without sending you to multiple locations.
